These terms apply when you use Sunlet: the website at sunlet.app, the web app, the installable phone app and the macOS app. By creating an account or using Sunlet, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Sunlet.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 years old to use Sunlet. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at hello@sunlet.app if you think someone else has access to it.

Your content

Your tasks, notes and plans belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and process them only as needed to run Sunlet for you, including sending them to the assistant when you use it. You can export your tasks at any time from Settings. Please only add content you have the right to use.

Plans and payment

• Free has no time limit and needs no card. It includes 3 lists, 100 open tasks and 10 assistant requests a month.
• Pro raises these limits to 100 lists, 1,000 tasks and 150 assistant requests a month. It is billed monthly or yearly.
• Pro is sold through Stripe, which acts as merchant of record and processes your payment, applicable taxes and invoices. Stripe's own terms apply to the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel the renewal. You can cancel at any time in Settings; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If you go back to Free, nothing is deleted. You can keep editing and completing tasks; adding more than the Free limits allow needs Pro.
• We will tell you in advance before a price change applies to your subscription.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law, including any right to withdraw from a purchase.

The assistant

The assistant suggests plans and changes based on your tasks and messages. Its suggestions can be wrong or incomplete, so review them before applying them. Nothing changes in your workspace until you apply a proposal, and applied changes can be undone. Do not rely on the assistant for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Sunlet. That includes trying to break or overload the service, accessing other people's accounts or data, using automated means to get around plan or request limits, or using Sunlet for anything illegal.

Changes to Sunlet

We keep improving Sunlet, which means features may change or be removed. We aim to keep Sunlet available and your data safe, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, so keep your own exports of anything important.

Ending your use

You can stop using Sunlet and delete your account at any time in Settings. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel its renewal first. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Liability

Sunlet is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Sunlet after that, the new terms apply.
